iMovie is one of my favourite video editor in the above list, and also it’s very helpful video editor for beginners to learn video editing basics but the problem is, it’s only available for Mac OS, and hence neither Windows nor Linux. So if you own a Mac then you don’t need to buy this software because iMovie comes pre-installed with your Mac which essentially makes it free.
The best part about iMovie is its very easy to use and have very simple interface. Apple’s optimization makes iMovie more snappy and smooth editor. It’s features and interface looks similar like Final Cut Pro editor so I can say that you feel more comfortable on Final Cut Pro video editor after using this editing tool.

It’s hard to believe that the BlackMagic has made DaVinci Resolve Lite completely free. It is broadly used for color correction in hollywood movies due to its power.
